About Me

Higher education finds itself at a critical juncture, weathering a perfect storm of shrinking enrollments, financial struggles and public skepticism about the value of a college degree, among many other challenges. Yet, within this turmoil lies an exhilarating opportunity – the chance to rewrite the narrative, amplify our institutions' voices, and reignite public faith in the outsized value of higher education. To that end, the ability to craft compelling brands and stories that showcase our institutions, touch hearts, change minds and inspire action is more important than ever.

I am an empathetic leader who partners with teammates to ensure their abilities are being utilized to the fullest extent while allowing them to work on projects they are passionate about.

I take great pleasure in collaborating with colleagues from all corners of the campus on diverse initiatives, and acting as a lynchpin to streamline and consolidate our efforts towards optimal efficiency.

Personality

I take my work seriously and strive for perfection in any project. I also understand there is more to life than work, and I always look forward to casual conversations and building relationships around campus.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, you'll often find me on the golf course (trying to find my tee shot). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, specifically my wife Julie, our three-year-old daughter Madison, newborn son Easton, and our two-year-old lab Quincy.

I'm an avid Philadelphia Phillies and San Antonio Spurs fan and have spent the last three decades questioning why I am a Miami Dolphins fan. I always have a recommendation for a new TV show to watch, and I am constantly searching for the best pasta (or any pasta).
